Thai mission to visit 131 Muslims who fled
Cooperation from Malaysia in solving the problem of the 131 Thai-Muslims sheltering there would boost bilateral relations, Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon said yesterday. After the Thais' departure, the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) raised concerns about the safety of Muslims in Thailand.

Suspicious packages sent to Japanese and Thai Embassies in KL

Kuala Lumpur - The Japanese and Thai Embassies in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday were on alert after receiving suspicious packages. Japanese staffs were evacuated pending investigation into the package. It was not immediately clear whether there was any threat to either embassy, officials and witnesses said.
